The Core Mistranslations
The terms beneath the whole superstructure. Strip the smoothing and the frame collapses.
Technology & Artifacts
Terms usually spiritualised, here returned to their physical descriptions: devices, interfaces, specifications.
Substances — The Drug-Addicted Gods
The chemistry of sacrifice. The Elohim were biochemically dependent. The rituals were pharmaceutical.
The qetoret mixture was kodesh — set apart, reserved exclusively for Elohim. Anyone who manufactured it for personal use was killed. Why protect a recipe with death if it were merely symbolic?

Ranks, hybrids, intermediaries, functions. Returned to material and operational terms.
Places & Physical Locations
Spatial terms returned to enclosure, geography, and military camp.
| Hebrew Term | Traditional | Biglino's Corrected Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Eden | "Paradise" — mythical | Enclosed garden — physical location. A fenced experimental garden, not a spiritual dimension. |
| Gan be-Eden | "Garden of Eden" | "Fenced garden in Eden." One guarded entrance. A bounded site with controlled access. |
| Mi-qedem | "In the East" | "From the ancient one" / "from before." May indicate prior patterning, not just direction. |
| Seneh | "Burning bush" | Rocky ridge / rock formation with flammable geology. Bitumen or naphtha. A site, not a miracle. |
| Machanaim | Place name | "Two camps" — dual form. Jacob encountered two physical military encampments of Elohim. |
Verbs & Actions
Action terms whose mistranslation changes the entire scene from spiritual to physical.
| Hebrew Term | Traditional | Biglino's Corrected Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Bara | "Created" — ex nihilo | "Made / fabricated" from existing materials. No creation out of nothing in the Hebrew Bible. |
| Yatzar | "Formed" — as potter forms | "Formed" — without the preposition "from." "Yahweh formed the Adam-aphar" — the Earth-Adam. |
| Rachaf | "Hovered" / "moved" | "Vibrated, shook, soared like a bird of prey." Gives Genesis 1:2 mechanical force, not spiritual atmosphere. |
| Halach (hitpael) | "Walked" | "Walked reciprocally / back and forth." Enoch and Noah had an intensive physical relationship with Elohim. |
| Rakav | "Rode" / "sat on" | "Mounted, as one rides a horse." Yahweh rode the cherub — operational, not ceremonial. |
| Mashach | "Anointed" — symbolic | "Rubbed, smeared, cleansed forcefully." A concrete hygienic act, not a mystical ceremony. |
| Naphal | "Fell" | Can also mean "descended deliberately." Crucial for the nephilim reading. |
| Yahaf | "Flew" — as in Gabriel flying | "Strove to ascend, became weary." Gabriel arrives exhausted — a physical being who travels. |
The Pretend Method
Not fundamentalism. Not devotional literalism. Evidentiary literalism.
The Schliemann Method Applied to Scripture
Heinrich Schliemann found Troy by pretending Homer's Iliad was literally true. He went to where the text said the city was. He dug. He found it. The academicians who told him it was myth were wrong.
Biglino applies the same method to the Bible. Pretend it is true. Read what it says. Assume the authors meant what they wrote. Do not resort to allegory or metaphor to resolve contradictions — contradictions are data, not problems to smooth over.
When uncertain about a word: leave the Hebrew untranslated. Better an open term than a doctrinal lie. "Elohim" tells you more than "God." "Ruach" tells you more than "Spirit." The untranslated word is an honest admission of complexity. The translated word is often a theological decision disguised as philology.
The result: A text about flesh-and-blood beings who ate, slept, needed chemicals to relax, traveled in machines, engineered a worker species, divided territory among themselves, and died. A colony logbook. A field report of a contact event.
Summary Table
The compression layer. Old theological frame against Biglino's corrected frame.

| Spirit of God = divine presence | Ruach = flying machine |

| Sacrifices = spiritual atonement | Sacrifices produce calming smoke for Elohim (nichoach) |
| Incense = symbolic prayer | Qetoret = pharmaceutical mixture reserved for Elohim |
| Eternity (olam) = infinite | Olam = long duration — the Elohim are mortal |
| Holy / sacred = spiritual purity | Kodesh = set apart, reserved for — no mystical meaning |
