A filmed two-hander. LED volume projection. The illustrated plates as living environment. The feminine solution — not the feminine victim. The proof-of-concept film for the GABRIEL framework.
MEDEA is the third element of a three-part IP framework developed by Kennedy · Grimaldi · Dain. The framework addresses a single problem: how do you make a body of forensic research — spanning consciousness, cosmology, suppressed history, and the feminine sacred — producible for mainstream entertainment audiences?
MEDEA is what the research becomes when it enters a room with a camera. It is the point where the forensic investigation meets the craft of production. It is, in the language of the industry: the thing you can greenlight.
Medea — the original, before the patriarchal rewrite — was not a murderer. She was a keeper of knowledge that the conquering culture needed to destroy. The Jason myth, read forensically, is an account of the seizure of feminine sacred technology by a military-colonial expedition. The murder of the children is the later addition — the inversion that makes her monstrous rather than dispossessed.
The film restores her. Two women. One room. The knowledge that was taken, and the cost of keeping it. The solution that the culture refused — not because it didn't work, but because it worked on terms the institution could not control.
This is not a revenge narrative. It is a reclamation narrative. There is a significant difference.
The GABRIEL/GALEN framework requires a minimum of three independent traditions per claim, and finds convergence collapses rather than catalogues. The methodology identifies the same beings, the same technologies, and the same suppression patterns across cultures that had no contact with each other — which means the convergence cannot be attributed to cultural borrowing. It has to be attributed to something else.
MEDEA is where that something else becomes a story you can sit in a cinema and watch. That is its function. That is why it exists.
