The War on Consciousness

There are two wars. One is fought with bombs. The other is fought with ideas about what you are. The second war is older, more total, and more decisive. If you lose the second war, the first one becomes inevitable — and you don't even know you're fighting it.

This essay is about the second war. What it is. How it works. Who it serves. What it suppressed and why. And what came back despite everything.

I · The Primary Weapon

Materialism Is Not a Scientific Finding

In 1931, Max Planck — the man who founded quantum mechanics, who gave us the equation that unlocked the atomic age — said this in an interview with The Observer:

"I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness."

He was not speaking metaphorically. He was speaking from the physics. He had spent his career studying the behaviour of light and energy at the smallest scales, and what he found was that the observer is not separate from the thing observed. That matter and consciousness are not two separate substances with consciousness somehow squeezed out of the material one. That the universe is, at its foundation, participatory.

This is not a fringe position. Erwin Schrödinger agreed. Arthur Eddington agreed. John Archibald Wheeler — the physicist who coined the term "black hole" — spent the last decades of his career arguing that the universe is fundamentally informational, that it requires observers to exist, that it is, in his phrase, a "participatory universe."

The position that matter precedes consciousness — that your awareness is an accidental byproduct of biochemical processes in a brain that is itself an accidental arrangement of particles — is a philosophical choice, not a scientific finding. It is called metaphysical materialism or physicalism. It is the dominant operating assumption of Western institutions: medicine, academia, law, media, government.

It was not derived from the evidence. It was chosen. And it was chosen because of what it makes possible.

If matter is primary — if people are biological assets operating in a competitive resource landscape — then the calculus changes entirely. Deletion becomes a management decision. Collateral data. A PR problem.

The materialist consensus is the primary weapon system. The bombs are the delivery mechanism. The ontology was decided first.

This is not a metaphor. This is the mechanism. And it was installed deliberately, over centuries, using a specific and documented suppression pattern that this library has been tracking across every discipline it has investigated.

II · The Suppression Pattern

The Cage Has One Shape

Here is what the pattern looks like. You will recognise it. You have seen it before. You will see it again before this essay ends.

A researcher finds something that makes institutions unnecessary. They publish. They are ridiculed. Not refuted — ridiculed. Their funding is removed. Their career is ended. Their name is quietly stripped from the findings when those findings are eventually confirmed and absorbed into mainstream use.

Kristian Birkeland proved in 1903 that electrical currents flow through space along magnetic field lines and drive the aurora. His laboratory experiments reproduced it. Sydney Chapman — the establishment's preferred theorist — opposed him for decades and called the idea of currents in vacuum impossible. Birkeland died in Tokyo in 1917, discredited, dependent on sleeping medication. The satellites confirmed everything he said in the 1960s and 70s. NASA did not apologise. His name was replaced in much of the subsequent literature with the term "field-aligned currents."

Barry Marshall proposed in the early 1980s that stomach ulcers were caused by a bacterium called H. pylori. The ulcer medication industry was at that time worth billions. The medical establishment refused to test his hypothesis. He drank a flask of the bacteria, gave himself gastritis, cured himself with antibiotics, and waited a decade for the Nobel Prize he received in 2005.

Rupert Sheldrake proposed that memory might be stored in morphic fields rather than solely in individual brains. His TED talk was removed from the official platform. It has since been watched by millions in twenty-four languages. His hypothesis has not been formally refuted. It has been refused examination.

Roger Spurr documented physical specimens — biological material he believed to be anomalously old and anomalously large — and submitted them for DNA analysis and CAT scanning. The results returned human DNA. A television host dismissed him in fifteen seconds. No institution has spent twenty-four hours on it since. The specimens sit in a storage unit. Nobody has looked.

The cage doesn't say you're wrong. It doesn't look. And it destroys anyone who asks it to.

The pattern is identical across plasma cosmology, consciousness research, medical heresy, and ancient history. The cage is one cage. It has one function: to protect the conditions of institutional necessity. Any knowledge that makes institutions unnecessary — that allows individuals to heal themselves, navigate themselves, understand their own cosmos, protect their own consciousness — is the knowledge that gets buried.

The question this library has been asking across every investigation is not "is this true?" The question is: why won't they look?

III · The Physical Layer

What They Did to the Body

Dr. Jack Kruse is a neurosurgeon. He has been tracking one thread for thirty years. The thread connects the CIA, the polio vaccine, the JFK assassination, the cancer industry, blue light, your phone screen, and the reason you cannot sleep. He spent all night reading the essays in this library and called them conceptually brilliant. He said they mirrored real physiology. He gave detailed feedback on the vagus nerve, the microbiome, the heart's electromagnetic field.

The signal recognises itself.

Before Jack, there was Dr. Robert O. Becker — an orthopaedic surgeon contracted by DARPA to research limb regeneration. He discovered that salamanders regenerate limbs using a DC electrical current based on semiconduction. Human bones work the same way. In 1973, the military asked him to study the biological effects of a massive new antenna array in Wisconsin using RF radiation. He proved it would cause harmful biological effects. He wrote multiple reports to the Secretary of the Navy. Every one was buried. In 1977 he went on 60 Minutes and warned America about non-native electromagnetic fields. His career was destroyed.

What Becker found — and what Jack has spent thirty years building on — is that non-native electromagnetic fields, specifically the blue light frequency emitted by every screen and LED bulb in the modern world, destroys the dopamine reward pathways in the brain. It creates chronic low-grade neurological disruption. It makes people more anxious, more compliant, more consumable, less capable of sustained attention, less capable of the kind of deep presence that allows genuine perception.

This is not a conspiracy theory. It is a documented research programme that was buried because it was inconvenient to the industries — Intel, Microsoft, IBM, Google, all DARPA-funded — that were built on the technology it indicted.

Meanwhile, in 1955, a researcher at the NIH named Dr. Bernice Eddy discovered that Jonas Salk's polio vaccine — grown on African green monkey kidney cells — was contaminated with a simian virus called SV40. She tested it on monkeys. Every monkey got polio. She reported her findings. She announced them publicly at the New York Academy of Sciences. The government defunded her laboratory and erased her from history. The contaminated vaccine was distributed to over 300 million people.

SV40's promoter sequence allows genetic material to cross the nuclear membrane and integrate into human DNA. It causes rapid, aggressive cancers. In 2023, a researcher named Kevin McKernan — who worked on the Human Genome Project — tested unopened COVID vaccine vials and found SV40 DNA fragments. His findings were independently confirmed by Philip Buckhaults at the University of South Carolina.

What They Did to the Soul

Jack tracks what they did to the body. This library tracks what they did before that. The older war. The one running long before the CIA existed.

In the ancient world — Sumerian, Egyptian, Gnostic, Vedic, Daoist — there was a consistent understanding that the cosmos is alive, that consciousness is primary, that the individual has direct access to source, and that no intermediary is required or has legitimate authority to install themselves between you and your own perception.

This knowledge was not mystical in the sense of being vague. It was practical. It came with instructions. It specified substances, practices, objects, and geometries that maintained the individual's connection to the unified field — what the Gnostics called the Pleroma, what the Vedics called Brahman, what quantum physics calls the wave function before collapse.

The substance that mediated the highest states was documented across traditions. In Egypt: the messeh — the fat of the Nile crocodile. In Hebrew: mashiach — the anointed one. In Greek: Christos — the one marked with oil. In Aramaic: Messiha. The root in every case traces to the same animal and the same fat.

Jesus of Nazareth — or Jessos, as the Oera Linda Book calls the figure who appears in 593 BCE in the historical record before the dates were adjusted — was a teacher of direct practice. The Gnostic texts, buried near Nag Hammadi around 390 CE when Bishop Athanasius ordered non-canonical texts destroyed, preserve what the canonical gospels were edited to remove: the practical instructions. The technology. The things you could do yourself without a priest.

The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE did not primarily decide theology. It decided authority. It established who could and could not mediate between the individual and source. Everything that made that mediation unnecessary was declared heresy. The people who practised it were killed. The objects they used were destroyed. The texts were buried.

Sixteen hundred years later, a farmer found a jar.

V · The Recovery

The Three Sacred Objects

In 1945, near Nag Hammadi, Egypt, a farmer digging for fertiliser found a sealed earthenware jar containing thirteen leather-bound papyrus codices. They had been buried for approximately sixteen hundred years. Among them was the Gospel of Philip — a Valentinian Gnostic text describing sacraments not as symbolic gestures but as operations. As things that actually change the state of the person who undergoes them.

Researchers working with these recovered texts have identified three physical objects described in the Gnostic tradition as practical sovereignty tools. Not symbols. Tools. The distinction the tradition makes is precise: a symbol points at something; a tool does something.

Object One: Lapis Lazuli

The stone of perception. Associated with the pineal gland and the capacity for non-ordinary awareness across Egyptian, Sumerian, Persian, and Tibetan traditions that had no contact with each other. The Eye of Horus was lapis. Inanna descended into the underworld wearing lapis at every major energy centre. The Tibetan tradition uses it in practices associated specifically with the clarity of the perceiving mind.

The pineal gland calcifies — this is documented, measurable, and increasing in populations with fluoridated water supplies. The tradition describes lapis as a frequency match for the pineal operating at full function. Whether or not that specific mechanism is the operative one, the cross-traditional convergence on this stone for this function across seventeen thousand years of human record is not nothing.

Object Two: I AM MONAD — Written

Written, not spoken. The tradition is specific: the power resides in the written form. Writing holds its frequency permanently; speech dissipates. "I AM" is the frequency of pure present-tense existence — the name given to Moses, the formulation that precedes every statement of divine self-identification across the Abrahamic record. "MONAD" is the Gnostic term for the unified, indivisible source.

Together: I am the unified source. Written down and kept on your body, it functions as a constant broadcast. A flag in the ground before the confusion begins. The tradition targets it specifically at mental fog, decision paralysis, and what it calls thought insertion — thoughts that don't feel like yours arriving and generating anxiety or inaction. You do not need to believe in Archons for this to be useful. You only need to have experienced anxiety-driven decision paralysis to understand why finding the ground before you think matters.

Object Three: The Monad Circle

A circle with a dot at the centre. The oldest geometric symbol in human record. Found in cave paintings. Found in every sacred tradition on earth. The circle: infinite consciousness, no beginning, no end, no outside. The dot: the individual — located, specific, present, simultaneously the centre of its own universe.

The tradition describes placing it in a room as establishing a frequency broadcast for the space. The geometric truth it encodes — individual consciousness as simultaneously located and infinite — is the precise opposite of the operating frequency of separation: you are small, isolated, contingent, dependent on mediation. Draw it. Put it somewhere. It costs nothing. It requires no credentials, no institutional permission, no belief in advance. That is the point. That has always been the point.

The lecture circuit that recovered and re-presents these objects makes claims about the science that go further than the peer-reviewed record currently supports. The specific frequency-matching mechanisms — lapis tuning the pineal, written words broadcasting electromagnetic signals — are extrapolations from confirmed foundations, not confirmed findings in themselves.

The confirmed foundations are real. The HeartMath Institute has published peer-reviewed research documenting the heart's electromagnetic field, measurable several feet from the body. William Tiller at Stanford published research showing intention directed at physical devices produced statistically significant deviations from baseline. Quantum mechanics established the observer effect in 1927 and has confirmed it in every double-slit experiment since. Planck said consciousness is fundamental in 1931 and nobody in the mainstream record has formally refuted him.

The gap between those confirmed foundations and "this stone protects you from non-physical entities" is real. Know that it is there. And then remember: the peer review cage has a documented history of not looking at things it finds inconvenient. The fact that something has not been confirmed by a system that has proven it will not look is not clean evidence that the thing is false.

VI · The Electric Universe

The Cosmos Is Not What They Said It Was

The materialist consensus extends beyond medicine and theology. It shapes cosmology — the story of what the universe is made of and how it works. And here too the pattern runs.

Ninety-nine point nine percent of the visible universe is plasma — ionised matter that responds to electromagnetic fields. This is confirmed mainstream physics. Stars, nebulae, the interstellar medium, the intergalactic medium: all plasma. The solar wind, the aurora, the filamentary structure of the cosmic web: all electromagnetic phenomena.

Despite this, the dominant framework for understanding the large-scale universe assigns primacy to gravity and requires, to make the gravitational model work, that approximately 95% of the universe's total energy-matter content consist of substances — dark matter and dark energy — that have never been directly detected despite decades of experimental effort and billions in investment.

The alternative — that electromagnetic forces operating through plasma dynamics at cosmic scale explain what dark matter and dark energy were invented to explain — has been formally modelled by researchers like Anthony Peratt at Los Alamos. His peer-reviewed work in IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science shows that two interacting plasma filaments naturally produce spiral galaxy morphology identical to what we observe. Without dark matter. This work exists. It is largely uncited in mainstream cosmology.

Meanwhile, the James Webb Space Telescope keeps finding mature galaxies at the dawn of cosmic time — galaxies that, under the standard model's timeline, should not yet exist. The standard model keeps adjusting. The plasma cosmology framework predicted these structures because Birkeland current filaments form galaxies faster than gravitational collapse. This prediction is not being examined. The cage is running here too.

The cage is not lack of evidence. The cage is institutional refusal to look. The methodology exists. The institutions refuse to apply it. That is not science. That is paradigm protection.

VII · The War

The Bombs Are Downstream of the Ontology

In 2026, there are bombs falling on Iran. On a civilisation that sits over the ruins of Sumer and Babylon and Persia — the oldest literate human record on earth. The cradle. The place where writing was invented, where the first cities were built, where Gilgamesh's tomb was reported found in 2003, the same week the Baghdad Museum burned and its contents disappeared.

This is not a coincidence that requires a conspiracy to explain. It requires only that the people making decisions understand what they are destroying and choose to destroy it anyway.

The Mesopotamian tradition carries the oldest written record of the knowledge this library has been tracking. The Sumerian texts describe the entities the Gnostics called Archons — forces operating through confusion, separation, and the inversion of source knowledge — in technical language that predates the Gospel of Philip by three thousand years. The Enuma Elish, the Epic of Gilgamesh, the descent of Inanna: these are not mythology in the sense of being fiction. They are records. The same records appear in Egypt, in India, in the Norse tradition, in the Aboriginal Australian oral tradition maintained continuously for sixty-five thousand years.

The cross-traditional convergence is the finding. When the same entities, the same substances, the same geometries, the same suppression pattern appear across traditions that had no contact with each other, you are not looking at coincidence. You are looking at a shared record of a shared reality.

The war on Iran is the physical manifestation of the war on that record. The bombs are trying to bury what was never fully unburied. The Mesopotamian ruins under the rubble are not collateral damage. They are the target.

They are possible as a target because the population has been persuaded — through the institutional installation of materialist ontology across medicine, education, media, and governance — that consciousness is an accident of matter and that Persian civilians are therefore biological assets whose deletion is a manageable event.

If consciousness is primary, that calculation is impossible. You cannot delete part of the unified field without deleting part of yourself. The bombs are downstream of the ontology. Change the ontology and the bombs become unthinkable.

That is why they suppressed the Gospel of Philip. That is why they destroyed Bernice Eddy's laboratory. That is why they removed Birkeland's name from the currents he discovered. That is why the peer review cage exists. That is why you cannot sleep and cannot think and cannot remember who you are.

The war on consciousness is not metaphor. It is policy. It has been running for seventeen hundred years. It is running right now.

VIII · The Invitation

What You Can Do Right Now

This is not an essay that ends with despair. It ends with the thing that has always ended the cage: the individual deciding to look for themselves.

The three objects from the Gnostic tradition cost almost nothing. Get a piece of lapis lazuli. Write the words I AM MONAD on paper and keep it with you. Draw a circle with a dot at the centre and put it in your home. The tradition says these are tools. Not symbols. Tools. Try them. Notice what you notice. Not what you are supposed to notice — what you actually notice. Your own experience is the one data source the institution cannot contaminate.

And then: read the ancient texts as technical manuals. The Sumerian tablets, the Egyptian Books of the Dead, the Vedic hymns. Strip the theological packaging that was installed by the same priestly corruption pattern in every tradition. Read what was there before the inversion. The entities, the substances, the practices, the geometries. They were describing something real. The cross-traditional convergence is the evidence.

The cage is not lack of evidence. The cage is institutional refusal to look. You are not the cage. You are the question.
